USB 3.0 to SATA Docking Station for 2.5" or 3.5"' HDD/SSD

I used this to duplicate the regular hdd in my laptop. I copied it onto a new SSD of same size. Computer started up with no hesitation.

This thing is a must have for hobbyists and tech people in general. It makes mirroring drives, fixing windows, storage expansion, and everything else related, a god damn breeze. I love this thing. I've mirrored multiple drives so far and I've had no issues. Macrium reflect is an amazing software to pair with this dock. Don't sleep on this product.

I read a lot reviews before buying this. I have not tried a disk to disk clone, but it did work fine for recovering files from a drive that had become corrupted and would no longer boot. Not the fastest rig, but that could be my other computer, too. Good price. It works.

Works right out of the box, looks cool, and even has a clear dust cover to keep the HDD slot clean when there’s no drive in it.

Used Acronis software with the Sabrent Docking Station with perfect results cloning 3 hard drives - (one from HD to SSD, and two to HD to HD. Flawless. Used the first hard drive bay on the Sabrent and a USB cable to connect to computer.Sabrent instruction manual print is fine but the diagram print is very hard to read. Have a magnifying glass handy if you plan to read all content.I didn't use the dual hard drive bays on the Sabrent and therefore have no comment on their functionality.Overall, I'm pleased with the Sabrent and would recommend it based upon my specific qualifications and user experience noted above.

Great product overall. The use of multiple HDDs on the dock and using USB-C makes for a great experience and fast transfers. Haven't used the built in clone feature.

As a portable USB drive, this is easy to setup and use. You can copy data to and from your pc or to and from one drive in the unit to another using Windows File Explorer.However, don't buy this if your intention is to replace a failing hard drive by using offline clone, then don't bother. This unit will hang... never completing the copy. Tried it 3 times (10+ hours each time) before giving up.Download UltimateBootCD.com and use ddrescue to copy a drive with errors. ddrescue identified bad sectors and skipped those. It allowed you to retry the bad sectors very easily. But ddrescue is not for novices. Most importantly, it completed the copy and gave me a report of the failed sectors.

I bought these adapter when my Dell T5500 died and I didn,t want to lose the data on its two hard drives.Very easy to use with my replacement ASUS GA35. Simply plug in the "toaster", attach to a USB port, plug in your SATA drive and your computer will recognize it as a new drive.Saved me a lot of grief. I think it would be great for extra drive space if needed

this is working well. it is much better than USB drives because if you forget to 'SAFELY REMOVE' from the computer it will not lose anything. I lost all data on a Toshiba 3TB USB drive because I shut the computer off without 'safely removing' it first. this will NOT happen with this. BUT the disk must be initialized prior to the computer recognizing it in 'disk management'.

One of the most useful tools for upgrading people's computers to SSD's. Makes everything so much easier. Paired with Macrium cloning and backup software and you've got a powerful disk cloning/backup system.

I purchased this to use in an UNRAID NAS type server. I had purchased a similar product, but both drives showed up with the the same identifier, so the operating system doesn't know the difference between the drives.This product however both drives show up with different identifiers, so it works great with UNRAID!The Sabrent is what I'm now using in my UNRAID server.

I did not receive the promised extra software, but I didn't plan on using it anyways

Using two of these to house drives for chia farm. They work great and have good transfer speeds. Would definitely recommend!

Although the larger Drive self aligns, the SSD's need an eyeball sometimes to properly seat and connect. It works as designed, working drives in either size. Note: it will only accommodate one drive at a time. The only drawback is one I have with most desktop electronics: Could they either add some ballast weight or an anti skip pad to the bottom. I'm sick and tired of these things scooting around as I'm trying to use them :-p

It works great using an old SATA drive as an external drive. I have yet to try using it to copy drives since I don't have an extra one to copy to.

I was using this to back up my personal doc. Pics, and movies. After less than 2 years of use, one of the dock stopped working. It is not cheap purchase and expected to last longer than 2years.Contacted seller, but they told me that I had to have extended warranty in order to get replacement. If you are ok with dock to be multinational, maybe this is OK product. My case? No. I would not buy the same product again. Expect last more.

I have a lot of old HDD that I wanted to restore files from and this worked with pretty ancient sata drives.

This Optiplex replaces a previous version in a small form. The performance is as though it was brand new. The only issue I had was getting software updates from Microsoft. You need a specific KB file to bring it far enough up to date to install proper usb drivers and for Microsoft update to operate. After I figured that out and got it completed it now is exactly as it should with ample memory and HD space to do everything I need. Shipping was faster than I expected too!

Computer died and had 4 hard drives in it. Used this to get files of hard drive. No problem. No install. Fast. Did what it was suppose to put of the box.

So simple. Connect to PC, slap old drives in and out to scan them and transfer. Nice.

Best money cud buy and easy to use.
