I’ve equipped the Sabrent SSD to my Razer Blade 15 that I use for gaming and it runs perfectly. What I liked most about this SSD is that you can also purchase the USB Type C Tool Enclosure visit Sabrent website and download their cloning software so you can clone your current SSD which saves you time because you don’t have to go through the process of copying everything manually. Simply plug in the type C connector and close the drive to your new drive. Remove the drive, put it in place of your old SSD and switch on your pc. Great product, reliable and glad I made the purchase.
I purchased this with just the enclosure, to get an SSD working that wasn't compatible with my motherboard. The instructions it shipped with are clear, though I feel as though they could have included some more explanations of possible issues.Either the cable it shipped with or the connection port on the enclosure have some sort of issue, though. Due to the length of the cable, the enclosure has to hang from the back of my desktop pc, which is not inherently an issue for me. However, by bumping the enclosure, it disconnects the SSD, which has already crashed my computer once while transferring files. I would like to know if this is something I should replace the product over, get a better, longer cable, or just live with.
This makes the fifth time I have purchased this drive. They are simply the best bang for the buck in the 2TB size range. The overall speed, drive temperature, and reliability is great. Highly recommended.
