@Jeff morris Partitions don't have drive letters by default, you have to assign them. Each of four drives has a 3721.42GB partition which could be right-clicked for assignment, if that is your goal.

Unfortunately, I will be sending this back if I am not able to get the pathway corrected so the drives will work. Hope to hear from you today!
@Rick Raborn I was looking at some specs and noticed this enclosure had an update so was looking for a changelog and found this post. What staff should have told you is that the bronze thing is a s...
Reading about Sabrent products on the Internet, seems like I have to also ask questions that I would assume should not have to be asked: - What is the maximum supported device capacity? - Does it...
Oh, it's also JMS561U, isn't it... At least for those who actually bought it. https://forum.odroid.com/viewtopic.php?p=304941
Hello, Could you provide more information about this product? https://sabrent.com/collections/enclosures/products/ec-uasp - Which chipset does it use? I've bought a DS-4SSD and found out it is in...
No, the DS-4SSD is NOT JMS567+JMB575. It's JMS561U, which is by the way unsuitable for SSDs because it does NOT support TRIM/DISCARD, it does NOT support hot-swap or even hot-plug, and has all kind...
snippet of disk management which I believe shows them as unallocated?
@Sabrent I am a bit unfamiliar with doing that, so can you tell em how? Thx
@Jeff morris Make sure the drives are not allocated to Windows Storage Spaces. Then you can prepare the drives in Disk Management.
I have loaded all 4 bays with drives and my system is not seeing it. I switched the docking station to a laptop and it does not see it either?
Sabrent- Just plugged in my 4Bay 3.5 HD Docking station and it is not appearing in my registry? Drive is in, powered up great, connected to desktop properly but nothing. The light is blue and the f...
@ted.lillys That port is to provide additional power for devices that require it. I am not sure about the default behavior, that would require additional testing.
There is a USB-B micro port on the front of the switch. What is that for? Is there any reason the switch would default to the B port when booting up. I'm using the switch to share a keyboard betwe...
@Michael Wheeler The CH SN530 is 2230 and extra care must be used with 2230 drives in this enclosure as it lacks security points for that length. Otherwise, please make sure everything is connected...
Hi, I'm trying to read a Western Digital ch sn530 nvme drive in a EC-SSD2 but the unit doesn't recognise it, the light displays a disk is inserted, but nothing within windows or linux. ...
@D H You should be able to extend the partition manually with a program like MiniTool Partition Manager or with the built-in Windows Disk Management.
@Ryan Rayna Let me know if you have gotten satisfaction on this issue. Thank you.
@Rick Raborn If the enclosure is getting sufficient power, this is an issue that requires either a firmware update or an RMA. There may also be a problem with the cable. The thermal result is normal.
@Ethan Lin The Rocket 2230 will work perfectly in a PCIe 3.0 M.2 slot. As technology moves forward it is ideal to use newer hardware for overall performance and efficiency and that means a newer PC...
