Just wanted to add my vote of support. I have the DS-SC5B. Would be interested in using the second USB port in parallel with the first one to increase bandwidth. Linux (Debian-based Proxmox) server.

Ugh I came here to post this about my DS-SC5B (5 bay model) - it went offline due to a power issue and I would have figured it'd come back on. Sabrent can you tell us a way even if it voids warrant...
@jaime pascual I was informed that it's not possible to change this on the existing model. We do recommend a UPS if possible and have taken these concerns into consideration for future products.
@Ion Gheorghe Apologies for my previous reply, I've checked up on this and found that you can do RAID on the ASM1352R, as opposed to a software RAID via the OS. A proper RAID-1 should allow you to ...
@Richard Hanks "When the host machine sleeps or powers off, the fans and HDDs in the 10-bay enclosure sleep and go silent" is the reply I received. I do not think I can get an in-operation recordin...
The reason i asked was because i bought the similar item sold by your competitor over in Germany and was dissapointed by it not auto shutting down. The drives and fan shut down but the power supply...
@Ion Gheorghe You should be able to register via the website, perhaps at this location.

Hello, I just got SABRENT USB Type-C to Dual 3.5” SATA and RAID Docking Station with CFast/SD Card Readers and USB Type-A Port (DS-2BCR) I managed to make it as Raid 1 with two Western Digi...
@Richard Hanks The unit should sleep with system sleep or shutdown. The fan is relatively quiet, I'm not sure if this has been measured in review. NASCompares has a good video review but there are ...
@jaime pascual It appears this only happens on complete power loss which may make it unavoidable based on design. There are reasons you don't want things to power back on after an intermittent powe...
@Ryan Haver Thank you for reporting back. I am sending this along so our technical support team is aware.
Hi, When the computer is turned off does this unit completly turn off without the need to switch it off at the back? ie. all the fans go off? Is there a video online anywhere showing the fan nois...
First of all, thank you for your support. I know, by myself, that understading users needes/problems and transfering them to another team it's no easy matter. At this point is not a UPS thing! I ...
It is looking like this issue may have been related to Nvidia drivers and the latest version of Windows 11. I have completed a clean install of the Nvidia drivers and things are working much better...
@jaime pascual It is my understanding this may have been a design choice to save power. If so, a UPS should alleviate the issue, unless I am misunderstanding. I realize that is not ideal but is an ...
@Ryan Haver It may be a bad or corrupt clone. Testing the drive under other circumstances may be informative to rule that out. If the issue does not resolve when testing beyond that, an RMA is unfo...
@Sabrent Please Keep us informed about this new possible firmware as much as you can. I have another NAS that need to be replaced and I'm waiting to see how this resolves, if it goes well I'll be b...
@The Sabrent Informer The drive is being used as a primary OS drive for Windows 11. I don't see anything within Windows Event Viewer that indicates an issue with any Windows components. sfc /scann...
@Ryan Haver Could you detail more about your setup and how the drive and data are being accessed physically? Plugged into an adapter? Into an M.2 slot on the motherboard? Etc.?This sounds lik...
